At Buckskin we are passionate about seeing God's love transform not just Buckskin but the world. We support a number of mission partners. You'll find all the information below, plus links to their own websites.
Founded in 1999, CHILD’s Trust was started by Mark and Julie Thomas, members of Buckskin. CHILD’s Trust supports total orphans in loving family environments called Houses of Hope in India, Bangladesh and Nepal, as well as school projects providing the poorest children with a good education, nutritious meals and the love of God.
MISSION AVIATION FELLOWSHIP
Steve & Katie Machell are members here at Buckskin. They have served in Africa for many years, Steve as pilot and then country director with MAF Kenya and Katie as Information Officer. They have 3 boys. They are currently serving in Chad.
WYCLIFFE BIBLE TRANSLATORS
Angharad grew up at Buckskin. Her passion for languages led to work with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Asia and Europe. She is currently based at their training centre in Gloucester, both preparing new members before they head to the field, and providing support and development for those already serving in a language project.
Matthew and Helen Skirton spent many years serving God with OM across Eastern Europe before returning to the UK. They have 5 children. Matthew is OM UK director, while Helen heads up hospitality at the UK headquarters.
ONE CHURCH BASINGSTOKE
Buckskin is part on One Church Basingstoke, the network of local churches across the town and surrounding area. It exists to foster closer relationships and greater unity between churches.
One Church supports both town wide ministries, and also seeks to encourage and support Church leaders. Our pastor, Will Ross, is currently Chairman.
