Meet the Team

We are blessed by a fantastic team of leaders at Buckskin.

Below you'll find more information about each of our five Elders, who lead the Church and set the vision.

NEIL O'BOYLE

Neil is the Pastor here at Buckskin Evangelical Church!

ASHLEY BOARDMAN

Ash is married to Sue, with 2 grown up children, and 2 grand-children! Ashley accepted Christ as Saviour in 1982. On moving to Tadley in 1985 the family joined Buckskin Evangelical Church, then known as Buckskin Chapel. Ashley worked in insurance from 1977 - 2021, he is now happily retired and enjoys walking his dog Grace, spending time with family and working through a never ending list of DIY jobs for the Church! Ashley became an Elder in 2014, and a Trustee in 2017. Ashley has a servant heart and loves being a practical Christian, believing that God sees in us things we don’t always see in ourselves.

DARREN SKIPP

Darren has been an Elder since 2014. Married to Jenny with 2 children and one grandchild, Darren runs his own company. He is a huge rugby fan, and a mean BBQ chef. Darren has a heart to see the church serving the lost and the least in society, and is passionate about encouraging others to serve. He once wrestled a hippo.

EMMA MILES

Emma has been at Buckskin since experiencing Jesus in a powerful way her first morning here, as a teenager. Since then she's served on the worship team, as a homegroup leader and was prayer coordinator for around 2 decades before taking up her role as an Elder.

Married to Matthew with 2 teenage children, Emma has a passion for prayer, worship and teaching the Bible. She loves her garden, and can usually be found either knitting or with a crochet hook in her hand!

Emma plays the clarinet and cello (though not at the same time), and once jumped out of a plane at 10,000 feet, despite having a fear of heights and planes. She is a member of the Order of the Mustard Seed.

SUMIT SOLOMON

I had the privilege of growing up in a Christian children's home in Dehradun, North India. It was there that I found Christ at the age of eight and was baptized at the age of 19. My wife Jaya and I are blessed with a son named Joshua. In 2020, we relocated to England due to my new job in London, where I work as an IT consultant. My heart is for people to know Christ personally and experience the transformation and repentance that leads to salvation (2 Corinthians 7:10). Besides work, I like motorbike riding, golf, and playing guitar with my fellow worship team members at Buckskin Church.
